·What a great weekend of racing! We had fewer than normal spectators but that wasn’t much of a surprise due to the heat and other events in town as well as Fathers Day, but all the dads at the track wouldn’t want to be anywhere else!
Saturday started off with kids obstacle sponsored by Sutton Ridge Family Farm and the Nyhuus family where our junior racers tested out the trucks before we moved into the adults obstacle event.
Obstacle is sponsored by North Coast Mill Instillation
A huge thank you to all the volunteers that braved the heat with us and make all of this happen, from the concession (shout out Nina Holm and kids!) to the swag tent (shout out Meg and gals!) to flagging and timing it takes a lot to make everything happen out there and all the effort is appreciated. An extra thank you to Elite Dance Academy for coming out and running our gates on Sunday as well as cleaning and maintaining the washrooms ect. We are completely volunteer based club so it takes a lot of hands to make light work. Also a special thanks to those that stepped up to the mic as we were down an announcer, and I’m sure after reading all of this you have heard more than enough from me this weekend
We will see you all again July 25-26 for our next race!

Fired Up and Full Throttle!
These teens are crushing it at the racetrack every weekend! From flipping burgers at the concession stand to tearing it up on the island’s off-road course, they’re learning what it means to work hard, show up for each other, and fuel a team with energy, grit, and heart.
It’s more than just racing and food—it’s about building real-life skills, making memories under the stars, and forging friendships that will go the distance. They hustle, they laugh, they play hard… and they leave it all on the track.
This is youth in motion. This is community. This is what champions are made of.
Thanks for all your help and hard work!
thanks Nina Holm
