We also presented a few other awards like rookie of the year that was drawn from a hat of new racers that started this year going to Darrion Kurath. Steve Payne presented some cool Ford racing shirts to a select few of his ford racing cronies, and Elaine Ranger and Shawn Niven, a couple of key women racers that have been racing longer than some of us young bloods have been alive got awarded a hoodie with their top eliminator years on it (they both have won it over a dozen times!). We also had a vote for the “hard luck” trophy where racers put in names to be suggested for who they think had the hardest luck as far as breakage for the year. Kyle Sanders was the (un)lucky recipient of that.

We had lots of donated door prizes and a huge thank you for an amazing dinner Baker's Dozen Catering! It was fantastic!

We ended the night with lots of dancing and fun thanks to Warren Johnson and Olivia Currie for DJing!

We can’t wait for next season to do it all again! We will have an AGM in the new year (date to be announced) where we will set our dates for the 2025 season. Thanks again to everyone and especially our club executives that put this all together, Dave Hamilton has been our president for a number of years now and as always is doing amazing work, Brad Harknett completed his first year in the role of Vice President, Shannon Hamilton has mastered her Secretary duties and Haley Anderson took on the role as treasurer this year and had a lot to learn but has done fantastic work. Brendyn Deederly did a lot of leg work to get us some super awesome track sponsors this season and our club couldn’t operate the way it does without those sponsors so thank you!

Cheers to the end of the 2024 season and we hope to see you all in 2025 supporting your local race track!
